About Russell Ditchfield-Agboh, P.T.

Russell began his professional career in 1998, working as a Physical Therapist at New York University Medical Center. Areas of specialty were in orthopedics, acute care, rehabilitation, and as a certified vestibular balance specialist.

His intense interest in bodywork, movement therapy and myofascial anatomy guided him to study with highly regarded Rolf therapist, Thomas W. Myers, author of Anatomy Trains. In June 2001, Russell received his certification in Structural Integration, a powerful form of bodywork designed to ease pain, correct posture, resolve somato-emotional stasis, enhance performance, or simply fill in body image. The ultimate goal is integrating personal growth with a deepening awareness of mind-body-spirit connection.

In addition, Russell holds an Integral Yoga teaching certification, and teaches Anatomy & Physiology for various Yoga Teachers’ Training programs. He also teaches Myofascial Anatomy & Palpation course work at Bergen Community College . Russell’s understanding of myofascial anatomy, synthesized with his knowledge of yoga, offers profound insight into the mysteries of bodywork and yoga asanas. He has been practicing Structural Integration in Montclair and Cedar Grove for approximately 14 years.
